Aguas de Alicante is a company specialized in managing the complete water cycle, with a focus on improving efficiency, fostering innovation, and promoting sustainable development. Established as a mixed economy company, its capital is equally shared, with 50% owned by the Hon. Alicante City Council and 50% by Hidraqua, Gestión Integral de Aguas de Levante S.A., a company belonging to the Veolia group.

The management of Aguas de Alicante began in 1898 with the inauguration of the water supply to the city from Sax, a milestone fundamental to the economic and social development of the region. In 1953, it became the first mixed economy company in the world dedicated to comprehensive water management.

Currently, the company provides services in the municipalities of Alicante, Sant Vicent del Raspeig, Petrer, Monforte del Cid, El Campello, Mutxamel, and Sant Joan d'Alacant, implementing innovative solutions to support the communities where it operates.
